Nkosinathi "Nathi" Emmeka has been selected as Elite's June student of the month!
Nathi's goals are to "be a better dancer and to get good grades in school." His favorite hobby outside of dance is athletics. "I was the fastest runner in my old school. I did the 100 meter. I Corinthians 13:13 says, 'And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three. But the greatest of these is charity.' This verse inspires me to not love myself but to love other people around me. I want to tell others, 'Never give up. Chase your dreams.' I am thankful that people are showing love to me in helping me to attend Elite where I can become a better person and my dream can come true."
When we (Elite) were introduced to Nathi, we were excited to begin raising money for him to reach his potential as a gifted ballet dancer and help educate him through matric. Nathi now has the opportunity to not only receive the highest level ballet training, but he is also enrolled in a proper top academic program as well.
Nathi needs your help to fund both his academic and dance education! Nathi has received some funding for stationary and books, and has now officially moved from living in Brakpan with his grandmother to join the Elite School. Funding is still very limited so we need your help today.
